Reluctant Bomber Shows Morocans His Buried Bomber Jacket

A human bomb who decided not to explode took Morracan authorities to a graveyard where he buried his undetonated explosives.

"Other newspapers in Morocco on Thursday carried unconfirmed reports that the police had unravelled plots to carry out attacks in the cities of Marrakesh, Fez and Essaouira, all popular with tourists.

"Extremist groups were preparing attacks in Marrakesh against Jewish and foreign targets, "in the same way as those perpetrated in Casablanca on May 16," reported the Al Ahdath Al Maghribia daily.

"Investigators had found 'a veritable bomb factory... with large quantities of pentrite' - the substance found in the shoes of British national Richard Reid, the so-called shoe-bomber who allegedly tried to blow up an airliner heading from Paris to Miami in December 2001 - in the Sidi Moumen slum near Casablanca, wrote L'Opinion newspaper."
