The Pakistan "quagmire"

A bomb blast tore through a Shiite Muslim mosque during evening prayers on Monday night, killing 16 people and wounding at least 30 others, officials said, one day after the assassination of a prominent Sunni cleric in this southern port city.

The attack at the Ali Raza mosque provoked violent clashes between angry mobs and police, who used tear gas to disperse the rioters. The protesters torched vehicles and buildings. Two people were killed and 20 others wounded in the fighting, authorities said.

The powerful explosion was heard for several miles around the mosque, located about a half-mile from where Nizamuddin Shamzai, the Sunni cleric, was gunned down Sunday morning. Body parts and debris rained over the busy evening traffic on the central M.A. Jinnah Road, witnesses said.


These guys are bombing more churches than the Ku Klux Klan. This episode like many others reflects a low functioning level of emotional maturity, as well as mutual intolerance. The libs will have to be really crative to blame this on President Bush.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ... Bin Laden's concern about Zarqawi's remains
