The Democrat surrender monkeys

Don Surber:

...

The Democratic Party victory is seen as a victory for the opponents of democracy in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. I am not blaming Democrats. I blame the 31 million Americans who have given up after less than 4 years. They may not eat cheese, but they are surrender monkeys. That half of them supported the war when it began is sickening.

I can deal with a Robert C. Byrd. He opposed sending our troops into harm’s way.

But Jay Rockefeller? John Kerry? Jack Murtha? They and the hundreds of other Democrats who voted for the war only to give up later are throwing away lives of our Iraqi allies who were foolish enough to trust us when President Bush said we were in Iraq to stay.

Now they are running for cover.

...

The Democratic “peace plan” will not bring peace to anyone. It will simply will bring our troops home and cede an important battleground in the war on terror to the terrorists.

Swapping land for security just does not work....

...

It always amazes me, but no longer surprises, how the “peaceniks” always wind up creating more chaos, more deaths and more misery. The American pullout in Vietnam led not to peace, but to the fall of Saigon and the killing fields of Cambodia, where evil men killed 2 million people.
What does not amaze me is their refusal to take responsibility for the death and destruction that follows their policies of "peace." They have never taken responsibility for what they did to Vietnam and still think that was their shining hour. Their policy in Iraq will insure future terrorist attacks. What they are doing is proving bin Laden's point that they will give up if you smack them around a little. The Democrats like Pelosi have been desperate for this result ever since they lost the vote on the war resolution. They have no ideas on how to defeat the enemy.
