Hospital apologises for appalling care that saw patient starve to death

An NHS hospital has apologised to 38 families after a patient starved to death and it left other dying people screaming in pain.
This one of the inevitable results when you have a government monopoly  that has no competition and is looking to ration care so it can turnover more beds to incoming patients.  It appears to me that more than an apology is in order.  This sounds like criminal neglect resulting in a death.  This is happening in the same country that wants to try the NRA for murders they did not do because they dislike the NRA's politics.

Why do so many Democrats want this kind of "single payer" system in the US?  What is to keep the unaccountable medicare review board from approving the same kind of treatment?

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
