Former Obama CIA director confesses to surveillance of Trump campaign

Washington Post:
CIA director alerted FBI to pattern of contacts between Russian officials and Trump campaign associates

Describing a previously undisclosed high-level conversation between Washington and Moscow, John Brennan testified that in a phone conversation with the head of Russia’s domestic spy service he said that “American voters would be outraged by any Russian attempt to interfere in the election.”
And Democrats have been pandering to that faux outrage ever since Hillary Clinton lost.   Remember when the media was aghast that Trump thought he and his campaign were under surveillance?  Now here is Brennan admitting that he was engaged in it and encouraged the FBI to engage in it.

Brennan did shoot down the claim that Trump tried to kill the Flynn probe.  There goes another aspect of the fantasy claim of "obstruction of justice."  Brennan did claim that Russians were trying to recruit Trump campaign workers, but could offer no evidence that they were successful.
