U.N. imposes tough new sanctions on North Korea

The U.N. Security Council unanimously approved the sanctions on Saturday, including a ban on exports worth over $1 billion — a huge bite in its total exports, valued at $3 billion last year.
It cuts their exports by a third and more importantly it also stops them from their "contract labor" scam where they send workers to other countries and keep most of the money from the work they do.  China also voted for the sanctions.
