OK, where are the bodies and what is the mayor doing besides yelling at Trump

Washington Times:
San Juan mayor accuses Trump of ‘genocide’ after hurricane
She appears to be more ineffective as a mayor than Ray Nagin was in New Orleans.  Why is it that states controlled by Republicans are so much better at managing the impact of disasters on the local level?  I suspect it is because of incompetence and corruption in places like Puerto Rico and New Orleans.

Meanwhile, President Trump tells local officials in Puerto Rico to get to work:

Trump Warns Puerto Rico: Federal Help Can’t Stay ‘Forever’

The president says that the island bears some of the blame for its current crisis and that “we cannot keep” federal troops and recovery workers there “forever.”
It is becoming more clear why the island was such a mess before the hurricane.

The FBI is now on the case investigating whether local officials are withholding relief supplies from desperate locals.  This is another story that does not make the opening page of many mainstream outlets.
