Trump's move on healthcare regulations offers hope to those harmed by Obamacare

NY Times:

Trump Allows for Cheaper, Less Regulated Health Plans

  • President Trump issued an executive order to allow the sale of health insurance plans that are exempt from some Affordable Care Act coverage rules.
  • With the order, the president is making good on his promise to go it alone after Congress failed to repeal the health law.
This is a good move for those in the individual market who have been grossly harmed by Obamacare policies and regulations.

From truck drivers to freelance writers, they have been slammed by unaffordable premiums and sky-high deductions that make the policies worthless for all by catastrophic illnesses or accidents while subsidizing those who are not paying.

Obamacare has been especially unfair to the working poor and middle class.  That Democrats do not care about the damage they have done to these people is one reason why they are losing elections.  Why they and their supporters in the media are proud of Obamacare is a mystery.
