Moore fights back against sex abuse claims, many voters say they don't believe Post story

NY Times:

Under Siege, G.O.P. Candidate Tries to Discredit Accusers

Roy S. Moore, the Alabama Senate candidate, criticized the women who accused him of misconduct, and in a blow to Republican leaders, the governor refused to delay the election.
Polls show that the race is tied.  One ABC affiliate in Alabama could not find one voter who believed the Washington Post story.   The media attacks on conservatives have done great damage to their credibility with conservative voters who think the attacks are unfair.  The interviews were in a Republican-leaning area that voted for Luther Strange in the primary.  Several of the women who alleged that they dated Moore are now activist Democrats.  That probably adds to the voter skepticism.

I suspect that all of the media attacks on President Trump has also led to skepticism about media reports aimed at swaying elections.
